Meet Coach Keith

With more than 20 years of coaching experience, Keith Scarzafava has dedicated his career to developing strong, confident softball players, specializing in fastpitch pitching. His athletes benefit not only from his decades of hands-on coaching, but also from his commitment to modern, research-driven training methods.

For 16 years, Keith served on the Board of Directors for Little League, where he helped shape the growth of youth softball and baseball programs in his community. On the competitive side, he has successfully led teams like the Tri County Thunder and Velocity Travel Softball to championships, including multiple district titles. His players are known for their advanced fundamentals, competitive edge, and ability to perform under pressure.

Keith’s coaching philosophy is grounded in the principles of the High Level Pitching (HLP) Academy, where he has studied and applied the use of fundamental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and accelerate pitcher development. This data-driven approach allows him to balance technical instruction with measurable progress, ensuring pitchers build strong mechanics, improve spin efficiency, and develop the mental toughness required to succeed at higher levels.
